Instagram announced that it is testing a new feature that allows content creators to share comments from their followers in their Stories, similar to comments that appear on posts and Reels.
In a post on the “IG updates” channel, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said that the company is testing the ability for public accounts to share comments from any post that appears in Feed or Reels to their Stories. This is designed to help content creators highlight comments that are meaningful to them.
Mosseri also explained that creators can participate in the test by swiping on a comment and tapping the “Add to Story” icon. In the Stories profile, the comment will appear next to the original post. However, he did not provide any information about when the feature will be rolled out to the public or how long the test will last.
